Rockabilly- with attitude!

the bootleg swing band

This is real music played HOT and LIVE!

If this doesn’t make you want to shake your Booties, then nothing will!!

The Fabulous Thorvertones

the thorvertones

One of our favorite acts and we can’t wait to welcome them back to Bow. Playing an eclectic mix from Creedence to the Clash, Tenpole Tudor to Fratellis, Eddie Cochran to Johnny Cash or from Prince to Elvis Presley, you never quite know what you’re going to get but they know you’re going to like it…

Swamp Gods

moor reason

Hailing from Okehampton, a five-piece band playing original songs in an alt-folk groove. Their constantly expanding repertoire of songs range from raucous, alcohol-tinged crowd-pleasers (for the revellers) to reflective, heartfelt ballads (for the more sensitive listener/designated driver).

Drawing on influences from a wide range of musical styles (folk, country, bluegrass, indie-rock, prog-rock), this is an accessible band that gets most toes tapping and works hard to engage and uplift* their audience (*weight restrictions may apply!).

Eat The Rich

Eat The Rich

Imagine an eclectic fusion of punk, rock and a huge dollop of Irish folk mixed together with rock-lead guitar sharing solo roles with the fiddle. The four-piece Devon band boast a fast-paced upbeat and glorious dynamic rhythm section with lead singer-cum-fiddle playing and arguably, the tightest rhythm section in Devon!

appaloosas

Appaloosas

Appaloosas are a three piece band from Dartmoor, Devon, who perform music from the Appalachian region of the eastern United States of America. Music rooted in traditional folk ballads and tunes brought over by immigrants from the British Isles which in turn influenced the popular old-time music and recordings of the 1920s and 30s.

The band is built around the outstanding Appalachian and old-time inspired vocals from Eliza Acty, clawhammer banjo and guitar from Peter Acty, and decorated by the intricate melodies from virtuoso fiddle player Stephen Potter.
